One of the BEST weekends in Eureka is the Eureka Quilt Show and Fiber Fest – and it’s FREE! (Thank you volunteers!) Pictures and words really don’t do it justice…just imagine a small town covered in….quilts!
The Eureka Montana Quilt Show, held annually on the first Saturday of August, is “A sight that will take your breath away”. In the Historical Village and up through downtown Eureka, quilts hanging from buildings all over the town sway in the breeze creating a brilliant, lively extravaganza that truly cannot be missed. Come visit this spectacular event as Eureka celebrates the arts.
There are hundreds of quilts on display and for sale, starting at the Historical Village and up Dewey Ave. Product and food vendors, Boutique, Miniature quilt display, Featured artists. Free Admission.
Hours: The Quilt show on Saturday August 1, runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. At the same time, Fiber Fest Eureka happens at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds down the road – Fiber Fest brings together talented fiber artists showcasing their wooly wares and tools of the trade, along with the brave breeders of these majestic critters that they are celebrating and working with the natural fibers for spinning, weaving, felting, crocheting, knitting, etc. Animals on site are shown that provide many of the fibers as well as a petting zoo the whole family can enjoy!
Our goal is to bring together the best of fiber arts and fiber agriculture and to promote awareness to the general public about the fiber industry.
